This is the second entry (ECSS2) in the Ecstattic Singles series.

Stronger Sex is the new project from the warped mind of Washington DC's Johnny Fantastic, a starry-eyed crooner whose music hits the sweet spot between the vocal acrobatics and lyrical bacchanalia of Scott Walker and the burbling, dancefloor-ready electronics of the Pet Shop Boys.

"Love is a Herring" finds the band - now including synthesist Erik and drummer Sarah as well as Mr. Fantastic - at the peak of their powers, channeling the uncut 80s funk of Phil Collins and the fantasy rock of "Plastic Palace People" in equal measure. I guarantee you've never heard anything like it.
